Meet Jeffrey M. Bellamy
In providing legal counsel in the areas of commercial real estate and business law, I have used skill, diligence and hard work to build my practice. I take a value-oriented, bottom-line, common-sense approach. My role is to provide legal counsel that aligns with your business’s long-term goals. Plus, I know you need legal solutions in a timely, efficient manner.
When serving my clients in Indianapolis and central Indiana, I use three levels of experience:
- More than 20 years of practicing law, focusing on commercial real estate
- Two years as a senior planner for the city of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development
- A master’s degree in urban planning from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs
I counsel and represent real estate investors and developers in a wide range of areas, including purchase and acquisition, construction law, mechanic’s liens, title insurance claims, evictions and collections, land contracts, property taxes and tax sales, leases and lease options, defense of code enforcement actions, easements and encumbrances, mortgage financing and foreclosure, and all other areas of real estate law.
I also represent condo and homeowners association boards and their managers. I advise them on declaration and covenant enforcement, corporate formalities, collection of assessments, litigation defense and declaration revisions and amendments.
Finally, I assist business clients in risk and liability avoidance, business formation, employment issues, contract review and negotiation, collections, bankruptcy rights, covenants not to compete, general litigation and business succession planning.
Whatever your legal need, you can count on me to put the pieces together.
